Design clinics in Toronto & Vancouver

By: Frederic Harper, April 9, 2012

In May, we will do Windows 8 design clinic in Toronto and Vancouver. As you can leverage your actual HTML5 skills to develop Windows 8 applications, I think it could interest you. There are also some designers in the Make Web Not War community that may want to learn about metro UI.

This free evening event will cover some amazing topics:

  • Windows 8-The Tenants of a Great App (Includes Envisioning Overview)
  • Metro Style Information Architecture
  • Metro Style Design (Branding, user engagement, content, typography, style sheets, layout)
  • Designing for Touch, Mouse & Keyboard

It’s an opportunity to learn from the experts in a relaxed way. You will walk away with key design principles that you can apply straight away. For more information, use the registration links below.

Register for the Vancouver one on May 2nd.

Register for the Toronto one on May 10th.

Don’t forget to download the bits of Windows 8 Consumer Preview and unleashes a lot more possibilities!
