If you had to give your coding skills a level,
would the word “ninja” come to mind?
Now’s your chance to put those skills to the test, going toe-to-toe with Canada’s best and brightest web developers during the FTW! Coding Competition. Choose your weapon…ahem…language and platform to develop the next great Canadian Web App. Walk ten paces, turn, and…dazzle the country with your incredible new app!
Along with an awesome grand prize worth fighting for (Dell Office Make Over), the FTW! Coding Competition not only grants the winner bragging rights as one of Canada’s top web developers, but also awards the two runner-ups with top of the line Dell prizes as well.
Here’s the deal: Simply code or port a web application onto Windows/IIS or Windows Azure. That’s it, that’s all. All applications that fall into any of the following categories, and are on Windows/IIS or the Windows Azure Cloud are eligible.

Last year the FTW! Coding Competition sought out the best PHP on Windows applications in the nation. It pitted students against professional developers to see who could create the best web application.
It was Carson Lam, a student from the University of British Columbia, who took 1st prize. His application, TransitDB, revolutionized the navigation of the public transport system in the city of Vancouver. The runner up was Dac Chartrand, a professional developer from Montreal and worthy contender with his innovative Naive Bayesian CMS, Sux0r.
Is this the year YOU get crowned as the FTW Champion?
