The New Azure Portal is located at When you open this the first time, it will probably look like below picture:Azure Portal

Down the left side, you have the main menu that shows the most popular services, and you can get the full list when you click on the “More Services” link. The central part of the screen with all the tiles is called the Dashboard.

The default Dashboard includes helpful tiles such as the service health and the billing information for the selected subscription. You can customize your Start board by clicking on Edit dashboard on top of the page and once you made your changes click on “Done customizing”.

You can also add additional dashboards if you want. If you have big subscriptions with lots of resources you can separate the dashboard to have a high-level overview of your resources, across subscriptions or for one subscription.

You can also “Clone” your existing dashboards and create new ones from the one that you have setup already then make modifications to the cloned one.

You can switch between dashboards from the Dashboards menu from the top of the page.

Customizing the Portal

When you create new resources, or even for existing ones, you can “Pin” them into your dashboard if it is a resource that you want to have it handy in the main page. Also, you can unpin it anytime you want after it is pinned. To pin a resource, you can navigate to Resources page, right click on it and select “Pin to dashboard”
